2025 MB Invitational Recap

The 2025 Michael Brown Invitational took place over two days in Southern California on December 7th and 8th. Since 2012, the MB Invitational has been Driving Out Cancer’s signature event, raising millions of dollars for life-saving cancer research programs while featuring some of the top long-drive talent in the world. 2025 was no exception, teeing off with our Celebrity Black Tie Gala and auction at Fete the Venue in Costa Mesa on Sunday evening, followed by the tournament itself at the Huntington Club in Huntington Beach.

Celebrity Black-Tie Gala & Auction

The stars came out on Sunday night, dressed in their finest for an evening of food, drink, music, and a little magic in support of Driving Out Cancer’s mission.

We celebrated the life of long drive pro Derek Hines, who passed away in 2025, alongside his beautiful family.

We were amazed by the sleight-of-hand of Danny Magic, a two-time champion strolling magician from the storied Magic Castle in Hollywood.

We enjoyed delicious food and drink thanks to the generosity of our partners and sponsors.

And, most importantly, we raised money for UCI Health, City of Hope, the RISE Foundation, and other worthy beneficiaries thanks to generous bids on donated auction items, including golf experiences, one-of-a-kind signed memorabilia, amazing gift baskets, and much more.
